Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026. By using our website or booking a trek with Indradhanu Tourism, you agree to these terms.
These terms are a general template for a trekking operator. They are not legal advice—have them reviewed by qualified counsel before use.
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your contract with Indradhanu Tourism (“we”, “us”) when you book or participate in activities we arrange. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. Eligibility & health
Adventure travel involves inherent risks. You confirm you are medically and physically fit for the chosen trek, will disclose relevant conditions to us when asked, and will follow guide instructions. We may refuse participation where safety would be compromised.
3. Bookings & payments
A booking is confirmed only after we accept it and any required deposit or full payment clears according to the offer you selected. Prices are in the currency stated on the site unless otherwise agreed. Taxes or government levies may be extra where indicated.
4. Changes by you
Date or name changes may be allowed subject to availability and our change policy for that trek. Fees may apply. Cancellation refunds follow the cancellation table published on the specific trek’s detail page or in your booking confirmation.
5. Changes or cancellation by us
Weather, landslides, permits, force majeure, or minimum group requirements may force itinerary changes, postponement, or cancellation. We will offer reasonable alternatives (e.g. different dates or routes) or refunds as per our policy for that situation.
6. Conduct
You agree to respect local communities, wildlife, and other participants. Harassment, illegal activity, or reckless behaviour may result in removal from a trip without refund where permitted by law.
7. Equipment & insurance
You are responsible for personal gear unless the trek listing explicitly includes rentals. We strongly recommend suitable travel and adventure insurance; some trips may require proof of coverage.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability arising from a booking is generally limited to the amount paid for that booking, except where law prohibits such a cap (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot be excluded).
9. Website use
You may not misuse the site (e.g. hacking, scraping in breach of our rules, or transmitting malware). Content on the site is owned by us or our licensors; you may not copy it for commercial use without permission.
10. Third-party services
We may link to or integrate third parties (maps, payments, messaging). Their terms apply to your use of those services.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India unless we agree otherwise in writing. Courts at our principal place of business shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
